Cybersecurity is the ‘elephant in the room’ at agricultural dealerships. All agree it is essential, but few know what to do about it. Recently, the EDA, in conjunction with Secuvant, a cybersecurity firm focused on the AG industry, conducted an exploratory survey on this topic to ascertain the current state of cybersecurity at AG dealerships.
We will present an overview of what cybersecurity entails in general, a review of the survey results, and best practices to assist equipment dealers in improving their defenses against intrusion.
