Dealer Institute trainers on social media
There is some great content on social media provided by Dealer Institute trainers. Recent posts feature Trent Hummel who shares ways to generate cash through selling aged equipment. Dr. Larry Cole provides an overview of four different social styles: Driver, Analytical, Amiable, or Expressive. Kelly Mathison looks at how to keep generating sales by offering customers “convenience packages” of certain items. Check out WEDA on Facebook and YouTube.
In a recent interview with AGDealer TV, Eric Wareham, WEDA’s vice president of government affairs, discussed right to repair questions on what producers can repair, what they cannot modify, and future industry commitments to improve service support for producers.
AGDealerTV is a new online video series focusing on new machinery and technology in today’s fast-evolving agriculture industry. On AGDealerTV, host Spencer Myers along with Scott Garvey from Grainews Magazine interview product developers, covers global launches of equipment and feature specific pieces of new technology. They’ll report from farm shows and give viewers a look at farming innovations being developed in Canada and around the world. You can watch AGDealerTV on-demand at www.agcanada.com/agdealertv.
WEDA places a priority on education for employees of association members. The Canada Equipment Dealers Foundation (CEDF) has been especially successful in providing scholarship programs that assist members in funds for training and to create scholarships at post-secondary educational institutions.
This year, we are pleased to advise that applications for the Canada Equipment Dealers Foundation Scholarship Program have once again exceeded our expectations with 127 approved scholarship applications.
