Golfers and volunteers braved heat and humidity in August to raise nearly $14,000 for the Western Equipment Dealers Foundation. The golf course was in great condition and everyone had a great time in spite of the weather.
The Foundation was formed to provide funding for charitable purposes related to the shortage of properly trained technicians for our equipment members. The Foundation’s mission is to continue our support for the WEDA Industrial and Farm Equipment Technician Program at OSU Institute of Technology, and to establish scholarship programs at post-secondary education institutions for deserving students and member employees interested in pursuing a degree program relative to the equipment industry.
