What is the Canadian Dealer Hotline?
BLG is collaborating with WEDA to provide trusted advice through the Canadian Dealer Hotline. This independent legal advice program provides immediate support for dealers facing legal and business questions. As Canada’s law firm, BLG has over 750 lawyers in offices across the country, we deliver comprehensive legal solutions and client services for domestic and international clients of all sizes, providing best-in-class advice across more practice areas and industry sectors than any other Canadian law firm, including through our leading Agribusiness practice.
We understand the equipment dealership business and are committed to helping you grow your business and achieve success. By combining proven strategic advice with best practices and technology, we deliver exceptional service and value. Through the Canadian Dealer Hotline, BLG lawyers are available to support you throughout the process – from initial consultation, through to more complex legal matters.

Our clients benefit from the integrated approach of our multi-disciplinary team drawing upon the expertise of professionals on a national scale. BLG’s national scope and expertise in a broad range of practice areas means that aspects of your M&A transaction will be reviewed by experts in different areas of law, depending on the nature of your transaction, including transactional, employment, real estate, tax, environmental, competition, among others, rather than by a lawyer with more general experience.
Agribusiness
Lawyers in our agribusiness group have an in-depth understanding of the sector’s needs and regularly advise clients in all segments of the industry – from farming and production to processing and manufacturing, and on to the end consumer. Increased investment and a focus on innovation in the sector have contributed to exponential growth and technological advancements, changing the face of agribusiness in Canada.
The pace of growth is only expected to continue, based on increasing food demand, reduced land area and ongoing pressure to reduce global emissions. BLG is actively involved in the sector, maintaining strong partnerships with AgTech industry organizations, and our lawyers stay current with the latest industry developments to ensure we continue to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Our connectivity gives our clients the next-level service required to stay on top of legal issues and trends and achieve success in complex matters. We look forward to working with you.
