The Equipment Dealers Foundation (EDF) rounded out its 2023 fundraising season with two clay shoots in Oklahoma and Wisconsin this fall.

Over 40 event sponsors and dozens of teams took a break from the hustle of their day-to-day operations to help raise over $50,000 in funds to support the industry’s future through EDF’s scholarship funds.

“I would encourage anyone to attend the shooting event, that includes anyone new to the sport as well as those with shooting experience,” said Eric Reuterskiold, CEO of Johnson Tractor. “The scholarship fund is a great offering by NAEDA that everyone should take advantage of and support.”

Reuterskiold attended the clay shoot at Milford Hills in Madison, Wisconsin. EDF additionally held four other clay shoots and a golf tournament in 2023.

“The clay shoot was a well-organized, fun, and great networking event for a great cause,” Reuterskiold said. “For me, the best aspect was getting to spend some time with my team and co-workers outside of work.”

The fundraising season wrapped-up with two new locations in Madison, Wisconsin and Beggs, Oklahoma. After two attempts to reschedule, the final fundraising event, slated to take place in Austin, had to be cancelled due to weather.

Taking a break from the day-to-day tasks of the dealership might seem impossible. Still, dealers who’ve attended encourage others to make the time.

“The teamwork and communication opportunity you can have with your team is unparalleled,” said Nick Taylor from United Ag & Turf. “Also, it opens the door to grow relationships with other NAEDA members in a relaxed setting that can be valuable in the future.”

Keep an eye out for registration details soon, but please mark your calendars with the below dates and locations of our fundraising events for 2024.
